2006 October Sky Festival

The 2006 October Sky Festival
was held October 7, 2006
in Coalwood, West Virginia.

Welcome to Coalwood!

The welcome sign at the Coalwood United Methodist Church.

Many classes of school children visited Coalwood.

Later in the day, we saw lots of people with autographed books.

One of the new sweatshirts for sale this year.

WELC from Welch was broadcasting live from Coalwood.

Steve Date and a group of 25 teachers from Minnesota were in Coalwood.

The teachers are working on a project to get girls more interested in math and science.
